COmponent has gone away

Hello:

I have software that uses the quad encoder inputs. Worked really well until today making a few changes. The system no longer compiles because the quad encoder component has gone away - It looks like I have to purchase it again.

What say you?

FC Version 9 professional license - updated today.

hi Alan.
Have you tried refreshing your licence?
Run Flowcode and select help, Licensing, Manage.
Select the My Flowcode Licence icon and re-enter your details.
while in the help section of Flowocde, you can select Licensing again and View.
Is there a red X over an icon for the Mechatronics pack?

There is no "help" selection when you run FC9 until you run an application There is however a "licensing" button which directs the use to the "manage" selection.
I performed the operation with no luck.
There is an "X" over the mechatronics pack.
I have been using the encoder component for a long time and I believe this "pack" has gone from my license.

Hi Alan.
I will get this looked into for you.
Is the Mechatronics pack the only pack you have purchased that has a red x, or are any other packs affected as well?

Hi Alan.
Alfie has checked and It does not seem you have purchased the Mechatronics pack.
To resolve this, can you either post or PM me the flowchart that you have an issue with, please.

The attached file(s) was originally developed around 3 years ago. To be noted that the 2D panel graphics seems messed up for some reason.

It's possible that I did not purchase mechatronics bundle - But the encoder must have been available at the time I developed the program because it works.

It shouldn't be to difficult for me to write a routine to take the A and B signals and develop forward and reverse results since they are 90 degrees shifted signals. I don't want to spend time overcoming that though.

Also interesting to note that the "quadEncoder1" is listed in the components area.

Yes, all components are listed.
If not licenced for any components, there will be a yellow exclamation mark.
I have sent you a PM.
