Hello everyone!

LCD display HD44780 have many pins. What will you say if him may be only 4 pins? It is possible with PCF8574 module:

But no software for this device. Can it be any solution for this question?

Hello.
The LCD controlled via PCF8574 is already supported.
Under Displays, you want LCD I2C (Backpack)
Or just use the search function and enter backpack
Depends who you purchase the LCD with expander from will have different addresses.
For example, I have one LCD with address 0x3F = 63 & 0x27 = 39.
