Hi Enrique.
Many thanks for the spot.
I can confirm there was a bug.
Hopefully, I have fixed it, but unfortunately, I have not got the hardware to test the fix.
The component modification will be pushed onto the update system ASAP.
If would you like to test before then, browse to this location using File Explorer, it's hidden by default so just paste the link into your address bar.
Code: Select all
C:\ProgramData\MatrixTSL\FlowcodeV10\Components
Replace the existing file with the attached file.
If Flowcode is already open, then you will need to reload your project for the new components to work
If you run any component updates, then the components you added will be overwritten.
Can you let me know if it works for you, please?

Ok Martin thanks, I'll wait for you to have some results. (fingers crossed).
Best Regards

Hi Enrique.
Did the component work?
It is now avaible via updates.

Ok just updated, It continues to remain unchanged, it does not increase or decrease; In simulation it works.

Did you reload your project and recompile to the target device, after updating the component database?
If you did then I will order one and see what the issue is.
It was strange as I was monitoring the pins and they did look correct with the updated component.
Can you also remove the power and do a continity check between the microcontroller and digital pot pins?

Check continuity of each connection from the sensor to the chip pin, Vcc and Gnd connection, turn it on and off repeatedly, also use the PIC reset, maintaining the original connections to rule out a bad connection. I saved the new component (sensor) in Flowcode 10 Components, removed the Flowcode 10 program from the laptop and opened it again, made the program from the beginning using the new component that was incorporated, simulated it correctly and copied it to .hex (the sensor X9C103 I unpacked it new).

I have ordered a 104 version instead of 103, but they should allwork the same.
It's not due to arrive until this Friday.
I will update you when I have tested the hardware.

However I will continue testing to see if the error appears, I will keep you informed if there is any news.
Thanks

Hi Enrique.
I can confirm that the digital pot hardware is working and the value is going up and down for me.

Hi Martin,
I'm going to check everything and use a new potentiometer and I'll let you know the results.
Thank You
Enrique
