Your setup is at c:\users\45505\.espressif - I'm not sure if there has been discussion of not liking '.' in the path (or maybe it was ' ' (space) )

Full directory list: Which version did you have installed - have you 'upgraded' to 5? (Which might not be a good idea yet?)

Meanwhile I have reinstall the ESP toolchain, no luck. The ESP-Idf ver. is 2.3 as recommended in the instalaltion instruction.

Every Lib. are placed as from start and I have compiled many time, but suddently today I could not more

The _ and the " is not used my fault when I wrote, sorry.

It´s so strange what suddently happen. hopefully Ben see this tomorrow, otherwice I have to report it in General or bug. My brain can´t hande more now again I have used loooong time on troubleshooting.

Yes I know the problem, It's me fixing a problem I've been having on Win 11 that another user had. Hmm not sure what to do now for the best.

I download the two files and copy them to the ESP lib as you describe, but I still cannot compile in FC9 or FC10?

ERROR: ESP toolchain not found at "C:\Users\45505\.espressif\"

In File -> Global Settings -> Locations tab, check you are pointing to the esp-idf installation folder.

Is it dangerus in the nearest future to make an update, concerning the issue with Win11?

Have you seen mfishers answer I highjacked the history with my issues. I will test later.
