With any MCU I can not see any info on dashboard to select displays count and other parameters.

Try clicking on View -> Component Properties. You should be able to select the Max7219 component in the properties box that appears

Looking at my post I see that the SPI chip select pin isn't appearing.. I'm sure I put it to top level ?
Will re-export and try again...

That's the problem, I do not see anything when I open Component Properties.

That means the component isn't being seen by Flowcode.
Check that you downloaded the file to the correct folder.
Try adding the component to your project again - components search.

Will this component be available in version 10 at some point ?

Works AOK in v10 - download the latest from
viewtopic.php?p=19276#p19276
Save to a directory - and point FC at it using Build->Customize->Locations->Look for components in (might need to restart Flowcode afterwards)
