Flowcode Support Board

Hi Team,
I managed to install the ESP tool chain as per your instruction manual and I made a small FC chart that Toggle PIN13 the tools build and I programmed the Lolin32 board and seems all is working.
Please can you guys help me understand why the tool chain needs Python and GIT? I also suppose there is a normal C/C++ GNU compiler ? The first Build does unpack and install many things ,even after that to build a simple pin toggle projects seems to do many things is the code foot print huge on this Tool chain ?

Hi Peter,

We have no control over the toolchain installation for ESP32 and it is complicated. We originally wanted to provide a snapshot of the installation for use with Flowcode but this was not possible for us, so we are relying on the manufacturer's toolchain installation which has dependencies on Python and GIT.

Thank you it seems very complicated tool chain ,I have no issue with it ,I was just wondering because it unpacked a bunch of things ,Once installed all worked well so far
Interested in this mcu as it is cheap and very accessible where I live ,the MCP and STM stuff not so easily available ,
