Thanks Martin
I do have the C block at the beginning with an osccon command. I think the problem is related to the 18F14K22 definition file I have as I can not configure the chip in the configure chip settings as it is not listed in the drop down box.
I did manage to get it working by using MPLAB ...

Starting internal oscillator on 18F14K22
Hi
I'm trying to program a PIC18F14K22 and I'm having trouble, I think, with getting the internal oscillator to start. I'm just trying to turn an LED on and off but with no success. I'm using Hi_Tech C complier and a PicKit3. I can compile the code and program the pic fine but cannot get the LED ...

Re: Problems programming a pic18F14K22
Hi David
No unfortunately I'm still encountering the same errors. I'll keep playing around and see if I can get it to work unless you can suggest anything else I should try.
Thanks
Amy

Problems programming a pic18F14K22
Hi I'm trying to program at 18F14K22 pic. I've copied the definition file for the 18F14K22 to my Flowcode v4\FCD directory and installed the HiTech compiler and changed the required file paths and parameters as per the instructions given in the "Using the HiTech compiler article (viewtopic.php?f=26 ...

Using Internal Oscillators on a pic16F628A
Hi all
I'm having a bit of trouble getting RS232 comms to work. I'm using a pic16F628A with internal oscillator and my question is do I need to add a line of c code such as osccon = 0x070; because I'm using an internal oscillator.
Thanks for any help.

Monitoring Port A and B at the same time
Hi I'm relatively new to pic programming and flowcode, having said that I have a project in which I would like to monitor an input from both Port A and B at the same time as the input may come on either port, so I'm just wondering is there any way to do this?
Thanks for any help
