Thank you for your post. I do not have my stuff with me presently but sometime I will try what you said. Again, thank you for taking the time to make your post.

Re: Regulator getting very hot, plus a fix
I am using flowcode 4.5 with the E-Blocks I got for the course "Programming Embedded PIC Microcontrollers". I have had the problem ever since I started that after a while I cannot program the chip (PIC18F4455). (I have tried using other chips and the problem still occurs so it is not the c...

Re: Flowcode 4 and compiler location
OK. The above post may indicate why I have had problems. I had originally installed the free version of flowcode 4.5 available on a companion site to a book I had bought. After I became familiar with it I decided to install the paid for version that I got with a course I had paid for, "Programm...

Re: Flowcode 4 and compiler location
Hi,
I cannot find what you discussed. I am using version 4.5. Are you using version 5?

Re: Flowcode 4 and compiler location
I am the only user. I do have a Norton Utilities registry maintenance program that runs but it has often run 3 - 4 times before the flowcode problem occurs. The flowcode settings last a couple of days before reverting back to the old values. I have the correct settings set in notepad which I use to ...

Re: Flowcode 4 and compiler location
I executed your code and set the registry files. Flowcode continues to have the same problem I had before I executed your code. The values are right for awhile but then the values for linker / assembler parameters reverts back to the following: -ld "C:\Program Files\SourceBoost\lib" libc.p...

Re: Flowcode 4 and compiler location
The posted solution works for a session. But after exiting flowcode 4 one day and re-opening flowcode for use the next day, the linker options go back to the following (even if flowcode is set for a pic 16): -ld "C:\Program Files\SourceBoost\lib" libc.pic18.lib "%f.obj" -t PIC%p ...

Re: Cannot Program EB006
That is a good idea. Thanks. I am not really worried about the E-Blocks. I am more worried about me not doing things right.

Re: Cannot Program EB006
Hi, I was connecting my EB006 USB to a USB hub because I read that if my electronics are not correct I could damage my computer USB when I plugged my device into my computer USB. By connecting to a USB hub instead of my computer USB any electronics problems would damage the hub USB not my computer U...

Re: Cannot Program EB006
I am using the 13.5 V of the E-Block power supply to power the EB006. I disconnected the LED E-Block and the same thing as above happened ( Error 31. Then it said the EEPROM had not been erased. I did not want to continue so I said not to continue. When I tried to run it again it said the USB was no...

Cannot Program EB006
I am new to E-Blocks. I have looked on the forums to try to solve my problem but the solutions have not worked for me. Using the EB006 and Flowcode V4 and a simple program to toggle leds (the led board is connected to the EB006) I variously get that it cannot id the microcontroller or the USB is not...
