Re: Flowcode support for new ATtiny817 series core
Hi Benj, Any update on FlowCode supporting the avrxmega3 core? Since Microchip purchased Atmel in 2016, no new ATtiny parts with the old cores have been developed. The Series 1 core was released in 2016 & the Series 0 core was released in 2018. I'm hoping that FlowCode will add support for the a...

Re: Flowcode support for new ATtiny817 series core
I've downloaded the latest compiler to have a play and see what's possible. Thanks Benj. These are a departure from the older (mature) ATtiny (& ATmega) micros, but it is clear that Microchip has now made major changes in their design core .............. so no-one is expecting any of the older ...

Flowcode support for new ATtiny817 series core
Microchip purchased Atmel back in 2016. Microchip has now placed their "stamp" on the future direction of the ATtiny micros with the release of the following new parts: ATtiny212 ATtiny412 ATtiny214 ATtiny414 ATtiny814 ATtiny1614 ATtiny416 ATtiny816 ATtiny1616 ATtiny3216 ATtiny417 ATtiny81...

Re: STM8 range micros
Hi Are the STM8 range of micros available or will be in flowcode 8 please Hi all In my opinion, the lack of STM8 family for Flowcode is a major drawback. I suffered a lot from this. STM8 must be in the future oh yes!!! the STM8 controllers are realy interesting! I also asked for support for the STM...

Re: Add support for STM8S "Value Line" Micros
It would have allowed us to easily & quickly migrate our existing Flowcode designs from the 8 bit Microchip parts to the STM8S partsQMESAR wrote: If you have a developed a tool which you say is very good ,what is your interest then trying to push Flow code to support it

Re: Add support for STM8S "Value Line" Micros
Would you expect anything like this to happen? From our perspective, we paid Actum Solutions (in your country of The Netherlands) for the STM8S target to support these cheap micros. Cost was several thousand Euros, but the Realizer product is very nice programming software. Like Flowcode, Realizer ...

Re: Add support for STM8S "Value Line" Micros
The STM8 series is used extensively in the automotive sector. We design & manufacture for the automotive industry, the photo voltaic industry & also have several consumer products. Due to the high volume (& low prices) of the STM8S parts, we generally design these into all out products....

Support for Microchip UNI/O single wire interface
I'm wondering if Matrix has considered support for the Microchip UNI/O single wire interface? These memory chips are becoming quite popular and are as cheap as standard I2C memory & are available in several different packages including 3 pin SOT-23 & through hole (for hobbyists) TO-92. The d...

Re: Add support for STM8S "Value Line" Micros
Could be interesting, but don't see much advantage over the PIC except price In high volume manufacture, price is everything. PIC16 device can cost less than 0.21$ cents in volume But you will not find a PIC with half of the memory listed for the STM8 parts above for the same money, even if you are...

Add support for STM8S "Value Line" Micros
ST Microelectronics introduced their "Value Line" STM8S micros several years ago. These are very aggressively priced at around 1/2 to 1/3 the price to a similar Microchip PIC16F part. As a volume manufacturer, we are slowly moving away from the PIC16F parts to the STM8S003F3 and STM8S003K3...
