I am trying to make a development board which uses an ECIO40P with an LCD display, keypad and some I/O lines.

The ECIO drawings in the documentation are so small that I can't read them properly, is there a bigger drawing?

Also, does anyone have a typical circuit diagram which shows how the ECIO is powered.

The EB061 base board for the ECIO data sheet may show you the information you need.

It can also be powered by the USB cable.

I do agree the diagram is very small
If you use a pdf reader, then by holding down Ctrl and + then you can zoom in like this: Hope this helps a bit
