Hello
Is there any upgrade for 16F1827?
a) In FC v4.5 PortB interrupt is not available.
b) In FC v5 the RC5 component is not working, i receive the known compiller error messages:
unknown identifier "RC5_1_MX_RC5_PWM_C2CON'
invalid operand "RC5_1_MX_RC5_PWM_C2CON'
Thank you

Hello,
What property settings are you using for the RC5 component in v5?

Hi Ben
Here the error messages
Code: Select all
Remote Control Handset MINI_v5.c(908:2): error: unknown identifier 'RC5_1_MX_RC5_PWM_C2CON'
Code: Select all
Remote Control Handset MINI_v5.c(908:2): error: invalid operand 'RC5_1_MX_RC5_PWM_C2CON'
Here the RC5 properties window and my settings. It should be noted that RC5 compo is compiled and working correctly on FCv4.

Great thanks, I have managed to replicate the problem now.
Please can you try this updated component C file and see if this allows you to compile correctly.

I finally managed to solve the compiling problem on FCv5. It is some odd, but... works!
The only thing that needed, is the activation of... whole the RC5 component. I mean both Receiver and Transmitter. Then the code is compilled on P16F1827 correctly and the project works perfectly on actual hardware. In the attached picture is shown the RC5 compo properties configuration. The only drawback is the loss of RB.0 and RB.1 ports, though no so much worry. For the given project - and for a feature upgrade to a bigger one - all RA.X ports remain available.
I will post the actual project in a new thread, i firstly have to draw the PCB.
