18f66k80 family MCU

Post by Mathy »

Hello !

I would like to build some electronic boards with CAN and PWM capabilities and the 18f66k80 family seems to be perfect for that.
Before sending my gerber file to manufacturer, i would like to know if there are any problem with CAN ( internal hardware ), RS232 or PWM macro with this chip family.

thank you for your help :)

Hi,
Have you noticed the internal CAN bug fix here?
http://www.matrixmultimedia.com/mmforum ... 46&t=11126
Also PWM correction..here
http://www.matrixmultimedia.com/mmforum ... 717#p39717
RXINT for hardware RS232 interrupt correction for all chip..
http://www.matrixmultimedia.com/mmforum ... 46&t=11317

If you already been through all this correction, I guess you need to bear in mind for CAN bus that this chip has CAN bus in other pin also than RB2 &3 but I guess only RB2 & 3 is working currently.

Hope this helps :)
