Hi Brandon,
I think you're like this?
I have Modified your Flowchart to efficiently transform it into a calculator that performs additions (from the PM you sent).
Results shown on bottom line of LCD and in Ulong therefore 0 to 4294967295

To keep adding numbers, enter number then press * key
E.g
56789
*
1234567
*
12
*
Will display
1291368 on the lower line.

Pressing # is the same as All Clear (AC) function on a calulator

The keypad was not connected, so I have connected it portB.
Is that correct?

Hope this helps.

Martin

thanks martin, since i dont have a keypad i found a better resource (remote)
the toggle is a bit different than explained in tutorials for this remote
when you press a button it changes toggle state, if hold button or release button it does not change state
this makes it possible for me to have a wireless keypad and use the directional buttons in the middle to control the menu options :D https://dl.dropbox.com/u/10367218/remote%20keypad.JPG no matter how long i hold any button since using a old_toggle<>toggle decsision it only logs changes :D examle file below ($1 remote)
< buttons 0-9 always return 0-9 command >

Hi Brandon,
Using IR remote to enter numbers is a great idea!
