Capture sound frequency PIC16F1829

I wanted to create a sound wave period measurement device.
I made a test PCB based on PIC16F1829, clock 32 000 000 Hz (oscillator 8 000 000 x 4 PLL)
The input on processor is PORTA RA2=CCP3. The test input signal is square wave with frequency from 50 Hz to 1500 Hz. It is supposed to print the period on the LCD. Unfortunately, no results show up on LCD (which otherwise works).
