Has anyone used the new PIC12F1571 yet? It has 3 pwm's built into chip. I would like to try and use it, but it is not listed as a option when starting a new project. Is there a way I can create it as an option?

Your question is not a tip or trick, so it has been moved to a more appropriate category.

Ok, I apologize for that, for future reference where is the appropriate place to ask questions?

Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve,

No problem, you are not the first to make that mistake. We try to keep that forum dedicated to sharing of knowledge...

Were to post? It depends on the subject. If it is specific to one version of Flowcode, use the area with that version number in the name. For general programming questions use 'General Programming'.

So for you question, if you are a Flowcode 6 user, the Flowcode 6 would probably be the best match. However I did not want to make that assumption, so I moved it to the generic area.

Best regards,

Jac

Any update on using PIC12F1571? It's available for half the price of PIC12F675.

Hello Sanjay,

You have not stated what software your using?

If your referring to Flowcode v6 then we cannot currently support any devices that are not supported by the BoostC compiler. If you want to see this device then I would recommend for now that you register your interest with this device to the guys at Sourceboost. We are also looking into alternate PIC compilers so hopefully we will be able to do something sooner rather than later.
