hi guys,
i dont use the E-Blocks, i normally just prototype my circuits on breadboard, and go from there, but i would like to know where i can get a GLCD from and how much for? ive been looking around, but they seem a bit pricy and i dont want to go and buy the wrong thing... plus the ones ive been looking at seem to have too many connections, Flowcode only shows 6 connections and for a GLCD of this size, they have around 20 connections!

any help in this would be much appreciated :)
thanks,
matt

Hi Matt

The EBM001 GLCD seems to me a good choice, which is known to work well with Flowcodes

after some further research, i have found this:

is this the same thing? because im trying to keep cost as low as possible!
i cant wait to have a play, seems like it will be fun,

Hi
you need to check that an lcd has the same chip as in one of the glcd drivers

Hi Matt,

That eBay product doesn't specify the driver IC so I wouldn't bother unless you can find out specifically what it uses and then whether or not that display IC is available as a component in Flowcode.

As Jan says the EBM001 is a great choice if you only need one display.
