Hello everyone,

Since the installation of Windows 10, I had to uninstall and reinstall Flowcode V5 for drivers problems.

I reinstall Flowcode V5 and everything works fine but when I want to update the program, a new executable (FlowcodeV5-PICmicro.exe) is downloaded but the program never want to execute.

My current version is 5.4.0.0 Flowcode

How to install the latest update?

thank you in advance

Steve

Hello,

Please try and uninstall Flowcode completely, then try installing with the very latest "FlowcodeV5-PICmicro.exe" that you have there. Also ensure that it has downloaded properly, it should be ~76Mb in size

I have uninstalled and installed again Flowcode but the last update will not install.

1.) Uninstall
2.) Resart PC
3.) Install Flowcode "5.4.0.0"
4.) Click on "Help", "see the updates"
5.) A file downloads : "FlowcodeV5-PICmicro.exe" (72.4Mb)
6.) Run the executable file, but nothing happens

Hi Steve,
File size is correct.
I'm wondering if firewall or antivirus, even windows defender could be stopping Flowcode from installing.
Firewalls like private firewall, comodo etc can block exe files from installing.
I'm running windows 10 64 bit and Flowcode V4, V5 & V6 all install and run as they should.

Hello Steve,

Have tried tried this way ?

Locate the program icon or a shortcut in Windows Explorer.

Right-click the program icon or shortcut, and then click Run as administrator.

When the UAC message is displayed, do one of the following:

If you are logged on as a standard user, or if UAC is configured to always require admin log in , enter the appropriate administrative credentials, and then click OK.

If you are logged on as an administrator and UAC is not configured to always require credentials, click Yes to start the application.
