Hi!

Can the programs created to the 16F877 be loaded to the 16F18877 replacement or has anyone here tried it? Is there maybe support upcoming to the Flowcode for the 16F18xxx range?

The 16F877/877A is now NRFND... Just making sure the path is it okay to put those pin-to-pin compatible ones there at some point for some more memory...

Hello,

The 16F18877 should already be included in v7. If it's not in your current version then make sure you are running the latest release and also apply the updated files from here.

I haven't used the device so while we have had a good go at adding support for the new chip in Flowcode I cannot say for sure that it will work 100%. If you do find any problems then let us know and we will investigate.

Oh, it was older version on that specific computer... :D
BUT: The 16F18877 seems to be messed up in chip view? (It has 40 pins, Flowcode shows it with 31 pins?)

Yes you're right this bug was fixed recently. Here is the updated definition file.

Simply copy the file to your "Flowcode 7/FCD/PIC" folder and restart Flowcode.

Thanks for letting me know, the problem was down to a duplicated pin.

Here are the fixed files.
