Ok So this is a strange one.
In my little test program If I disable the C icon the ws2811 component stops working!? Re Enable it works fine.
edit* Ok so if I // some c code it also breaks the ws2811 component. Something going on with comments.
edit, edit: you have to initialize the ws2811 first, then things work.
Buggy,buggy!

Hi Chad,
I can't seem to replicate the problem you're having. If you're still having it?
With the file you posted it's complaining that Port pin C0 isn't available on your target device which seems fairly straight forward.
I can see that if you have for example an opening comment such as /* in a C icon that is unterminated then this would cause a problem with the Flowcode code generation but simple // commments shouldn't cause any issues.

You probably don't have the new stm32f446RE target that Leigh made. That is the pin complaint.
The issue is still there.
thanks,
Chad

Hi Chad,
Your project compiles OK for me with or without the C code enabled.
What exactly do you mean by "the ws2811 component stops working"?

Leiah, don't even worry about. I managed to fix it by changing the initialization order and I have more stuff going on in my newer test program and it seems to be working now.
The ws2812 component is a little wiggy on the arm. I am getting used to it's oddities. I am much more worried about getting spi working on my display, dmx, write to flash....
thanks
