Just purchased and installed FC8.
Built the simple flasher test program using the 16F1507 chip.
Checked that it was supported in mLoader.
All OK apart from the last hurdle when the attached popped up

Appreciate any help please.

Hi,
Looks like a hardware issue
Is the EB006v9 powered from a PSU? 12v preferable
programming links set to USB?

Edit: My mistake, 16F1507 is not supported by mLoader

Hi Medelec thanks for your prompt help
It’s ironic that you sent me back to that first “Forum entry” in 2017 where I made the same mistake.
In my defence, I had assumed that in the intervening two years the mLoader file that accompanies Flowcode had been expanded, which seemed to be the case when viewing the list in “Program your embedded device” in the “Discover floCode 8” on your website.
I think it would be a good idea to mention on the above site that your chosen chip must be supported in flowcode and also supported in” mLoader” to see if your chip can be programmed.
I think my best option now may be to purchase the Picit3 from Microchip and install it on my
EB-006-00-9 programming board. [Hopefully there is a site that shows how to set up the Picit3 to the EB-006-9 board ?) or I could find another chip that fits my requirements that is in both flowcode and mLoader lists.
Any other suggestions on what I do next would be gratefully received.
Many thanks for your help so far,
stylo
