dear friends,
i am using the matrix multimedia's HP-488-00-3 pic micro development board and using the pic16f84a chip,the kit manual says this kit support the mplab ICD 2 debugger kit, now i want to buy the kit, please advice me which model of the ICD2 kit is supporting our kit. I am using the assembly language.

The Microchip part "DV164005" is what you need - i.e. the ICD2 itself and the USB cable.

You will need to be programming using MPLAB to use the debugging features of the ICD.
