Hi.

I need help about a demo to read an encoder with the 18f452.

The encoder specs are :
ppr = 1000
rpm = 100
NPN , push pull.

I've 3 wires C1,C2,C3 and Vcc , GND

You may want to wire the pins C1, C2 and C3 into the interrupt on change pins (normally the top half of PortB) then you can always be sure to catch the encoder as it changes position.
