can I use a Picstart programmer with PPP3? if not what programmers can I use?

The PICstart programmer requires MPLAB, I think that it is possible to setup Flowcode to use the PICstart so it may be possible to configure your compiler to also use this programmer. There should be a topic on this forum regarding integrating PICstart into Flowcode which should help you get started.
