Hello matrix Team
After 1 week hard fight with the EB006 V7 i have a following result:
I have any more gray hair`s and i think,if all wok`s well,flocode V4 it`s a great build.
The not pursuable behavior between EB006 V7 and my board bring about a "bad contact" of the middle of the 3line jumper j12 j13 j14.
After i changing with single line jumper the cumunikation was ok!

RB7 and RB6 must be free for the EB006 V7 , so i connect my display complet to port a

After these, i compile "anz_test" to chip with flowcode V3 and it works well.
if i do these with V4.1.1.55 , i have no effect on my real display,but v4 simulation work.
If i do these in ICD Mode it works but without display-reaction.
Every time i have compile in v4 (on all *.fcf file):
Caution: Delay inaccurrate: 'delay_10us', Delay overhead:0ms, Unit delay:0.0100708ms, Delay resolution:1 units
Caution: Delay inaccurrate: 'delay_ms', Delay overhead:0ms, Unit delay:1.00006ms, Delay resolution:1 units
Please help me.
V3 and V4 anz_test for test.
Regards Wolfgang

Hello Wolfgang
In ICD mode components no longer simulate. This is why the Flowcode simulation LCD is not responding.
Sorry to hear about your jumper problems, this sounds like the same problem that Medelec was having a while back.
The delay inaccurate message is only a warning and is part of the new V4 compiler which is why you did not get these messages in V3. They are simply saying that instead of 1ms you will get 1.00006ms and instead of 10us you will get 10.0708us. This is due to the particular clock speed you are using.

Hello Benj
Simulate the display works!
If the display is connect to port b all works ok.
After i connect the real display to port a,change settings to port a,on my board the display dont work after compile to chip in both mod`s!
regards Wolfgang

I think RA4 is commonly an open collector pin. E.g. it cannot activley source current.
If you attach a pullup resistor of say 4.7K to 10K between +5V and RA4 then your display should work correctly.

Hello benj
Why on the same board,also the thame hardware, compile to chip in V3 all works ok?
I put in the resistor not work.compile the same v3 *.fcf file work also without the resistor

Hello
Ok I see. Which target device are you using. Also can you attach the C code files generated by V3 and V4 to the forums so I can compare the code and try and see whats going wrong.

Hello Wolfgang
Ok I see the problem. The chip you are using does not have the RA4 problem so you were correct here.
The problem is this.
#define LCD_525650_PORT0 porta
#define LCD_525650_TRIS0 trisa
#define LCD_525650_PORT1 portb
#define LCD_525650_TRIS1 trisb
#define LCD_525650_PORT2 portb
#define LCD_525650_TRIS2 trisb
#define LCD_525650_PORT3 portb
#define LCD_525650_TRIS3 trisb
#define LCD_525650_PORT4 portb
#define LCD_525650_TRIS4 trisb
#define LCD_525650_PORT5 portb
#define LCD_525650_TRIS5 trisb
Flowcode 4 supports multi port LCD communications. You have defined D0 as Port A but the other pins are still connected to Port B. Going back into the LCD component connections in V4 should sort this out for you.

Hallo Benj Steve
I think v4 must have a " time problem " !
because:
I build a small code > v3_anz_test_manu.
It init the display and write " HI V3" tothe display > clear display and write again "HI V3" and so on........
I build a small code > v4_anz_test_manu.
It init the display and write " HI V4" tothe display > clear display and write again "HI V4" and so on........
for the "Waiting time " i build time delay "takt4_5ms" in my "write" macro works in v3 and v4
The time is ca...... ; i adjust it with my oscillograph.
Please help
Regards Wolfgang

Hallo Steve Benj
I have make a new experiment:
1.)
Load my EB006 V7 with a 18F4620 @ 39321600HZ (9.8304MHZ Quarz) { after i solder-out the orginal quarz > i show it is plug in ............ }
Connect my display to PB (conn. J5 )
Build v4_anz_test_flow_PB > compile to chip > works well
2.)
Connect my display to PA (conn. J5 )
Build v4_anz_test_flow_PA > compile to chip > dont work
3.)
display is connect to PA (conn. J5 )
Load v4_anz_test_manu > compile to chip > works well
Hope itΒ΄s a little help.
