Hello

There are many types of display that all feature the exact same outer appearance but use a slightly different interface code.

The display we use for the EB043 board is compatible with the displays sold here.

The other displays should be 100% be electrically compatible but the firmware may need slightly modifying for the other types of these displays to work correctly.

Thank you for the information.

But i can not find any information on the display3000 page, about which controller the display are using.
I need this information, (or the type numer of the display on the E-Block) if i should by a compatibel display here in Denmark.

Another thing, is that im not sure, that the display you have linked to, is 100% compatibel whith flowcode. The have change types in may 2009 !.
See the comment on the bottom of the page:
Information: This 65K color display will differ slightly from the display we are used to sell until May2009. You will need to update your software code to be able to work with this display.

IΒ΄m a newbie, and do not have programming skills, to program new firmware. So i need to use displays, that are 100% compatibel with flowcode.

Another question:
Is it possibel to use monochrome graphical displays, based on the T6963 or the KS0107/KS0108 controllers with flowcode, without programming new firmware ?.
These displays are some of the most used worldwide, and very easy to get.

Hello Canielsen

The displays should mostly work and the code dfference should only be as small as changing one of the bytes that is sent to the display at initialisation.

The display we use uses the Epson controller chip.

This details a bit more information about the specifics of the displays.
