Hi,
i just upgraded to V4.2 from 4.0 and some of my projects that includes the CAN component will not compile. The message I get is:

Panel8-3any.c
Starting preprocessor: C:\Program\MATRIX~1\FLOWCO~3\BoostC\pp.exe Panel8-3any.c -i C:\Program\MATRIX~1\FLOWCO~3\BoostC\include -d _PIC18F8490 -la -c2 -o Panel8-3any.pp -v -d _BOOSTC -d _PIC18

Panel8-3any.c(576): Illegal redefinition of symbol: TX1IE
Panel8-3any.c(577): Illegal redefinition of symbol: TX2IE
Panel8-3any.c(586): Illegal redefinition of symbol: TX1IF
Panel8-3any.c(587): Illegal redefinition of symbol: TX2IF

4 errors detected
Error: preprocessing error

failure

Return code = 1

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Here is a file that should allow the Flowcode V4 CAN component to be used with the PIC18F8490 and similar devices.
PIC_CAN.c

Copy the attached file into the Components folder of your Flowcode installation. This should work with all PIC devices, but it might be a good idea to retain a backup the original PIC_CAN.c file.
