LED7SEG4 Module

Hello

I use the 4 x 7 segments and I have some problems.
  • I would have a module clock 88:88.
  • My diagramm is with PNP must therefore low state to select digit and low state to turn on each segment. I think in the next version you should add this feature. like one LED model.
  • Possibility to have 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ... digits

Hello Frank,

The quad 7 segment is a bit of a legacy component. The single 7-segment component can be stacked togther to create a display with as many digits as you like. The segment connections can all be commoned together and the anode or cathode can be manipulated individually for each display. You could even add the : character by adding a relevant background image to the panel.

Hello Ben,
The segment connections can all be commoned together and the anode or cathode can be manipulated individually for each display.
But i can't put an inverter lijke PNP transistor, then i can't turn on one digit with low state and turn on one segment with low state too.

Hello Frank,

You would need a PNP transistor for each of the common pins. This should allow the device to work with both segment and common pins active low.

But is it possible with flowcode to add an inverter ?
