Hi !
I already purchase a Flowcode 4 for pic. I tried flowcode 3 for AVR and I saw on this forum that a Flowcode 4 for ARM will be available soon.
I think tant I can do the same things with the AVR and PIC MCU but the ARM release enlarge the possibility.
I have a little project about stabilisation with accelerometer and gyro. Maybe Kalman filtering....More mips are welcome !
When do you think this new version will be ready ?
If necessary, I can give some times to be a beta tester as I made for the V4 for PIC release !
Thank you for all,
Mathy

I forgot a question....
Only Atmel MCU will be available with Flowcode 4 for ARM ?
Nothing about Cortex M3 or others ?

Hello Mathy,
Flowcode 4 ARM was sent off to press at the end of last week so we should have stock shortly. There is a much improved bootloader for the ARM devices as well as a lot of other improvements.
I'll get the demo versions uploaded onto the web today.
Sorry its again only Atmel SAM7 devices that are supported. The differences between manufacturers is too large to allow us to support multiple families of chips using a single compiler.

Thank you Benj,
I tried quickly the new ARM release. I didn't find the demo limitations ?
In the commercial release, does it have usb communication ? VNET support ? etc etc
If I understand well, if I design my own board with a Atmel ARM MCU, I only need a USB port connection to program the MCU throught the matrix Multimedia bootloader ?
I don't need anything else ?
Last but not least, on your website, if I want to buy Flowcode 4 for ARM, I am redirected on the V3 release. It's just a bug or the V4 isn't available yet ?
Thank you for your help,
Mathy

Hello Mathy,
As soon as we receive stock of the Flowcode v4 ARM then we will add the product to the Flowcode sales page and quick buy link.
The commercial release does not include the USB components but features such as the Vnet support and FlowKIT ICD are all included.
Yes only a single USB port is required to power and reprogram the ARM device.
