I just installed C For pic on my windows 7 64 bit pc.

I followed all the directions in the FAQ to get it to work and run correctly.
This worked and the corse ran fine yesterday.

Today after a PC reboot, the Java wont work, and keeps wanting me to install v5.0 32bit java.

The sorce boost works fine still, and the program runs fine.

Any ideas?

I have windows7 64 bit. What I had to do was un-install java then install this version:
http://www.filehippo.com/download_jre_64/

The site is a well know trusted site, so no virus issues.

once installed go to:
http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp

To verify you have Correct Version installed. Don't let browser automatically install java as I think it will install 32bit version since we normally use 32bit browswer on a 64bit system.
(well that's my theory anyway )
If you have same Java version as me, C for pic should run OK.

When all is working should look like this: (except the actual version is 20% bigger as I had to shrink by 20% so file was not too big to upload).

Thanks that worked, I had the latest version, but for some reason the browser would not load java. I reinstalled off the java sight and it works now.
