Hi there,

if i need to start off with a new gsm module will i have to program the module aswell? or it comes pre programmed?

can u tell me how do i start off. i just need to send a default text as sms which i want to store in the eeprom.

The modules are generally preprogrammed and you communicate with them using "AT commands" over a serial link.
