a friend has an error .....Error: Failed to open:libc.pic16.lib or C:\Program Files\SourceBoost\lib/libc.pic16.lib
failure
Return code = -2
Flowcode was unable to assemble the ASM file due to the following errors: what does this mean? he cant download my files to chip

Hi Brand
If i remember well, "Return code = -2" means that the program memory of the target device is insufficient to contain the program code. With other words, you have to select a PIC with bigger program memory.

hopefully tommorrow he'll have v4 access to give more info... it does this on windows 7 64 bit and basic old school xp... the program memory is not the issue since we were trying to get only a switch and led macro working first because that program did work last week... it seems like there is something missing in the program

thanks steve for the fast response- reconfigureing the options to default was the third thing we tryed but for some reason it didnt work at that time, did work today and all is well! hey john chime in
