Any help for the heart rate monitor problem?

Hello!

I've been working with a heart rate monitor (hand grip version) for a while and I've managed to make some flowcharts (attached) but they don't work. The flowchart which I use in node 3 is not entirely made by me and I have been told that it's not suitable for the final result that I want. However I've tried to make some working heart rate monitor with that. Now I would really need some help to make the heart rate monitor functional.

The idea is to send the BPM data from node 3 to node 1 via zigbee connection and display the BPM value on graphical LCD. Node 3 consists of an AVR microcontroller multiprogrammer, a zigbee board, a sensor board and of course the heart rate monitor hand grip version. Node 1 consists of an AVR microcontroller multiprogrammer, a zigbee board and a graphical LCD.

I hope that someone more skillful would look into those flowcharts. Any help is welcome. At least tell me if those codes are totally unsuitable. And in that case detailed help would be great in order to proceed in this work.
