FC5 activation problem
Hello,
I have reinstaled my FC5 and I have problems with the activation. I send an email to Benj, but I get no answer.
How can I activate my FC5?

Next time I suggest you use the technical support request here as I may be away on holiday etc and away from my desk for a long time.

Can anyone help me FC5 install/activation problem I'm having?
2 years ago I installed my copy of FC5 on my laptop, no problems. A few weeks ago I had to rebuild my Win10 Pro system(crashed) from the ground up. I'm trying to get my FC5 installed and I can't get past the "Activate" button, I receive message " Failed to Connect". Do not know where to go from here.
I tried using the Technical Support form but i still haven't heard anything from there. I tried contacting DAVIDA a couple of times but still haven't heard anything. Hope someone reading this can help me out, thanks. Art

It sounds to me like there is a problem with FC5 accessing the internet.
I'm no W10 expert but are there any firewalls that needs to be configured to allow FC to get out? What about Anti-Virus? Could it be preventing access?

Hi
I have FC5 on this laptop (W8.1) and I tried to activate (although already active). A pop-up appeared asking permission for RegMe.exe to run.
Is W10 preventing this? Do you need to run FC as Administrator? Can you "white list" this in any AV?

I get the RegMe.exe and I click YES, but still no success. I enter name and key, RegMe popup states it has accepted the name and key, I close FC% and
launch it again and now I get message 16 days left...

Well at least it's done a bit more
I'm not sure what to suggest but at least you can use it until Matrix staff can advise further. As it's the weekend it might not be until next week before they get back to you, but they always do.

Are you running as Administrator? Flowcode needs to write to protected resources at activation time,

Flowcode v5 is quite old now so I might not be remembering correctly, but the message "16 days left" makes me think it is running a trial. Maybe your actual licence will start after the trial has ended.
