Osc speed selection 16F886

Hi,

I'm setting up a project with a 16F886 which has an internal HF OSC running at 16MHz. However, in the Flowcode 4 View|Project Options screen I cannot select an osc speed of 8MHz, which is what I want to use. I can select 4MHz, 5MHz or 10MHz, which AFAIK are not available for this chip. Is this a bug?

No not a bug. All you do is manually type-in 8000000 instead of selecting a frequency. Out of curiosity Why would you want 8 MHz when your int osc is 16MHz. that would mean all your delays, and timing loops would be wrong?
Why not set Target speed the same as your internal speed of 16 MHz?
