Hardware compatibility

Post by achillis1 »

Hello,

I have some hardware and if you can take a look at the board schematics and examples in C code, can you tell me if they are compatible with flowcode?
The one is an RFID board and the other an mmc card reader which communicates with RX/TX.
I would like to know if it is possible to use the Flowcode's macros to drive them.

Thank you in advance,

Best Regards,
Achillis.

Hello Achillis

The MMC board should be fine however the RFID board may not work correctly depending on the logic specification of the device.

We use the RFID modules available from RF solutions on our E-Blocks so maybe this would be a better option for you. The connections are correct as the RFID E-Blocks use the Rx and Tx UART Pins.

Hello,

E-blocks hardware are just fine but when it comes to constructing a custom made device consisting of e-blocks, then due to their physical form and shape -I could say-
they cannot be easily attached to a project box!
That is why I was interested in those hardware.

Thank you for your reply.

Hello

We provide the schematics for all E-Blocks and we also provide info on suppliers so if you wish to replicate say an RFID E-Block into one of your own custom circuit boards then why not use the exact same module and therefore guarentee your success.
