Hello Achillis
Ok here is a bundle of files for Flowcode v3.
You will need to extract the contents of the FAT16installer directory into your Flowcode v3/Components directory and then run the Install FAT16 file to allow the FAT16 component to be loaded into your version of Flowcode.

Hello,
Thank you for the files. I have extracted the files at the componet directory and I opened the "creat file" fcf file. When I press compile to chip buttin then av error message appeared: " error loading macro data from fat16(0), please contact technical support".
Is there anything else to do?
Thank you.

Hello
It looks like you have not supplied any component connections for the FAT component. Doing this should help your compilation. Let me know how you get on.

Re: EB037 MMC board examples could be opened
Hello,
I have supplied the component connections. Before that I unistalled flowcode and installed it again. After that the files are compiling OK.
I think that I might have applied the wrong update: instead of 3.6.11 from 3.x, I updated via the update 3.6.11 from 3.5; I have 3.x.
Never the less, even now that the files are compiling OK, I still have the same issues: "waiting for card" > "crreating file" > "file exists" > "opening file"
> "file error".
I tried it also with a new MMC card of 128MB capacity.
Is there anything else to do?
Thank you.

Hello
Have you formatted the card as a FAT and not a FAT32? Also have you made sure that the file that the PIC program creates is deleted every time. If the program is saying the file already exists then it must think that it cannot recreate the file on the card. You could change the code to alter the filename or delete the file if it already exists.

Re: EB037 MMC board examples could be opened
Hello,
The card is formatted correctly.
Regarding the creation of the file: the card reader does not create the file on the card not even once!
I do not know what else might be going wrong!
Ben, due to the fact that the new fat component has change, just to be sure, can you send me the pin connections for ports B,C,D of the ECIO, on whch I will connect the MMC card reader?
Regarding the FAT files, after I have extracted them into a file I just copied them into my flowcode/component directory, correct?
Maybe if you could send me the whole flowcode directory from the program files? Would it help? Or a demo installation of flowcode?
Thank you.

Hello Achillis
To install the component (I think you must have already done this)...
Port - Any
SDO - 5
SDI - 4
SCK - 3
CS - 2

Pin connections are as follows if your using the E-Block with jumper setting A and 5V,You will need to extract the contents of the FAT16installer directory into your Flowcode v3/Components directory and then run the Install FAT16 file to allow the FAT16 component to be loaded into your version of Flowcode.

Hello,
Yes, I have already done that.
So, there is nothing that I can do for now!
Can you think any other way to write on he card?
What about the flowcodeVΒ£ directory? Can you sent it to me? Or a demo installer package?
Thank you.

Re: EB037 MMC board examples could be opened
Hello
What I would do is the following to help troubleshoot the problem.
I would add a LED E-Block to a unused port and then in Flowcode write a 0 to the entire port. This converts the port to an output.
Then go into the code customization for the FAT component (v4) or edit the component code by hand (v3). I would put in writes to the port so you can check what is going on.
Basically start in the initialise routine and ensure that the program is getting to various parts of the code by placing outputs into the code.
Eg
porta = 0x01;
porta = 0x02;
etc...
This should help you to see where the code is getting to. I have tested the code with both MMC, SD cards and the ECIO devices and they have all worked correctly for me.
You're not using PortC for the Card Reader on the ECIO are you? Also are you providing the 5V supply from the ECIO baseboard via a wire connection?

Re: EB037 MMC board examples could be opened
Hello,
Tried to change the component connections and after that I would get the same error message after hitting the compile to chip button:"error loading macro data from FAT16(0)".
I do not understand, beside that I did not change a thing on my laptop nor on the software, so now why it does not compile?
Should I send my laptop and ECIO all way up to England and test it?

Hello
I have been unable to replicate this problem. Which example are you using? Which Target chip are you using? Which component connections did you set? Did you chgange the example in any other way? Maybe posting the modified example onto the forums would help us to solve the problem for you. Im sure we can get this fixed without you sending us your laptop
