Difficulties with PicKit 2

Post by Ruel »

I am using Flowcode 4, Windows XP and PicKit 2. When I try to programme a Pic I get a message: Return Code = 24, PK2Device FileDat not found. I tried suggestions that I picket up from other posts but all to no avail. I used the followong settings:
Programmer: C:\Program Files\Matrix Multimedia\Flowcode V4\Tools\PICkit2\pk2cmd.exe
-BC:\Program Files\Matrix Multimedia\Flowcode V4\tools\PICkit2\-PPIC%p-F%f.hex-m-A5-R-T-R

External program to set options:
C:\Program Files\Matrix Multimedia\Flowcode V4\Tools\PPP\PPPv3.exe
-cs 2 -chip PIC%p -config
The PK2Device file.dat is in the same folder as pk2cmd. I also added %PATH%;C:\PICKit_2\pk2cmdhome to the PATH.
When I use PICKit by itself and the hex file that I could not program, it programs successfully.

Do you have spaces inbetween each option for the PICkit2?

Code: Select all

Programmer: C:\Program Files\Matrix Multimedia\Flowcode V4\Tools\PICkit2\pk2cmd.exe
-BC:\Program Files\Matrix Multimedia\Flowcode V4\tools\PICkit2\ -PPIC%p -F%f.hex -m -A5 -R -T
