In flowcode 4 8 special symbols can be loaded in a LCD (RAM_Write). The symbols can only be activate for the ASCII symbols 0 until 7 (allowed nldx parameter values). A keypad can handle this be changing the wanted key "Numeric values" into 0 until 7.
However, these special symbols can not be introduced as keypad "ASCII values", because they are not accepted. I tried to introduce these number with ALT-000 until ATL-007, without succes. Is there an other possibility to introduce these special symbols as "ASCII values" in a keypad?

Hello Jan
Currently, the best way to read non-printable character values from the keypad component is to scan it using the GetKeypadNumber macro.
If a combination of printable and non-printable character values are to be represented by the keypad, the ascii codes for the printable characters should be entered as their numeric values.

A pitty that not all ASCII codes from 0-255 can be introduced. I tried which 'printable characters' can be introduced.
It seems to be from ASCII 032 =' blanc space' until ASCII (126) = }. That means e.g. ~ (ASCII 127 showed as ->), french symbols (ASCII 129 - 154) and greek symbols (ASCII 224-238) can not be used.
There is of coarse a solution: Writing a procedure yourself, but then a high knowledge level of programming is necessary.

Hello Jan
The numeric value properties and GetKeypadNumber macro allows you to allocate and read back any number - from 0 to 254 - to any keypad key (255 is reserved for 'no-key-pressed'). The reminder of the Flowcode program is free to use the returned values in any form (ascii characters, numeric values, bit patterns, or any other representation), whichever macro is used to return them.
The ascii properties and GetKeypadAscii macro are restricted versions of the numeric equivalents, the only difference being the way the numeric values are represented on the property page (as ascii characters).
