Prevent erasing EEPROM during compiling
This there a possibility to prevent erasing the EEPROM during compiling the flowcode and laoding the program into the PIC, by e.g. changing the (PPP) paramters?

Re: Prevent erasing EEPROM during compiling
PPP V3 options allows to choose between erasing PIC micro before programming and a check on it.
I removed these options and close the windows with OK. Opening the PPP window again shows that my choosen options were removed. That means disabling the erase option was not accepted/ has been removed. Leaving me still with the problem of an EEPROM which gets erased.

Hello Jan
I have replicated your problem. Hm.
One work around for now would be to rn PPP directly from the following location.
"C:\Program Files\Matrix Multimedia\Flowcode V4\Tools\PPP"
In here you can load the hex file produced by Flowcode and also modify the options so they remain static. I will look into why the options through Flowcode are changing back to their default settings.

Re: Prevent erasing EEPROM during compiling
It could be due to the "-cs" option. Because our PPP app is used by a number of different products, we had to invent a system where different "config slots" were available so that PPP could have a different set of options and configurations when used by different products.
When you launch PPP to set the options, you must launch it with the same "-cs" parameter as when you launch it to actually reprogram the device.
If you only ever intend to use PPP with Flowcode, then you can remove the "-cs X" parameter from both the "programmer" and the "programmer configuration" parameters.
