hello ,
i'm trying to transfer low quallity music over zigbee . In the zigbee datasheet stands that you can adjust the speed by writing to the AT-command : ATBD 0-7 . The standard is 3 , its 9600bps but i'm trying to get it to 115200bps what is ATBD 7. I send the AT-command to my module but when I measure it the speed doesn't change. I'm using a PIC16F877A. Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong?

Re: Zigbee speed
Hello,
The ATBD command will change the baud rate of the Zigbee module. Are you changing the baud rate of your UART at the same time? You will probably have to do this using C code to alter the UART Baud register. The UART may need to be temporarily disabled to allow the speed change to happen.
This is stated by the datasheet.

The RF data rate is not affected by the BD parameter. If the interface data rate is set higher than the RF data rate, a flow control configuration may need to be implemented.

Re: Zigbee speed
Hi,
I dont know if this will help, but the program digi has on their site call "x-ctu" or similar. This lets you change all sorts of parameters, including baud rate.
regards & seasons greetings
