Hi
that means 800steps for 4rev,and 50 for .5rev.afterthat if ve want more resolution ,i mean .25rev we cannot set our loop variable to 12.5count.
am i correct?
then what should be do the quaters?and other under half valeus.
are we going to create again direct port addressing like 96 to portc,80to port c. - . -. -.
regards
nuwan.

Re: stepper motor cct
OK, your motor is indeed NEMAxx standard Hybrid of 1.8deg/step (or 200step/rev). That is a good start point. Please, give me some time to experiment with it. I will reply you in 1 hour as much.nuwan5213 wrote:Hi

Re: stepper motor cct
No, you are wrong, it goes in this way: 1rev = 200steps so 0.5rev = 100steps.nuwan5213 wrote:Hi

Re: stepper motor cct
hi again fotis,
please check tis out.
program called "impossible" is not working well with hardwear.wrong positioning again.but 4rev,1rev,and half rev works fine.
awiting reply.
thanks.

Re: stepper motor cct
OK nuwan
We have the correct data of stepper motor, 1revolution = 200steps. Let's look at the issue from a different optic angle. I don't know the length of elastic that cuts your machine per 1 motor revolution.. From your machine picture i can suppose that is about 30mm (or 3cm). Let's suppose that indeed cuts 30mm of elastic / 1 motor revolution, OR 200 motor steps = 30mm elastic piece. Therefore:
1) For 300mm (or 30cm) elastic piece: 300mm X 200steps / 30mm = 2000steps
2) For 550mm (or 55cm) elastic piece: 550mm X 200steps / 30mm = 3666.66steps. In this case you could change the length from 550mm to 549mm (1mm is negligible for elastic) and you will get:
For 549mm (or 54.9cm) elastic piece: 549mm X 200steps / 30mm = 3660steps.
In your original file "STEPPERMOT_MOD3.fcf" the variable "COUNT" is increased by "1" per each Loop repetition (COUNT = COUNT + 1), or by "4 steps" per each Loop repetition. So you have to divide the number of steps (calculated above) by 4 and to write on "Until COUNT = ---" the result of division, i.e. for 2000steps you have to write "Until COUNT = 500", for 3660steps "Until COUNT = 915" etc.
I don't think that is a right way, a better and more accurate way is to we change the structure of each branch of your program. To this, the calculation "COUNT = COUNT + 1" should be executed 4 times per each Loop repetition, i.e. after each one of the 4 Output icons it should be placed one calculation icon "COUNT = COUNT + 1". In each output icon a 4bit code is writen which corresponds to one of the 4 phases of stepper motor, or to ONE STEP. I have modified just 4 branches of your fcf to you get an idea of what i mean. To make your project working correctly on your actual machine, you have to measure how much is the length of elastic that cuts your machine per 1 revolution of motor, to make the calculation of steps according to the formula that i described above, and to write the number of steps result in the Loop "Until COUNT = ---" of each branch.
