Since upgrading to Flowcode v4.5.18.74 from 4.3, I get:
'Error: Access violation at 0x77C472E3 (tried to read from 0x00EC2000), program terminated.' when I try to Compile to Chip
After launching the linker/assembler... I get a
Return code = -1073741819
Flowcode was unable to assemble the ASM file due to the following errors:
FINISHED

I have tried a fresh install and have applied the patches shown on the forum.
Any ideas / solutions appreciated.

Hi
Are you able to post your flowchart so we can have a look and see if your problem can be replicated.

Hi John,
It's not a specific flowchart that causes the error. Any flowchart, including examples from Matrix, gives the same error.

Re: Error: Access violation
Sounds like you'll have to wait for the guys at Matrix.
Only things I can suggest are what youv'e most likely tried.
1) Pause your virus/firewall software
2) Make sure nothing else is running in the background.
I assume from your post the error started after you upgraded to 4.5.
When you did a clean install did you try version 4.3 again, if so does that work.

Re: Error: Access violation
Hello Electron,
We have had a couple of similar reports of people having issues with the 4.5 install, not enough to spot a pattern between them.
4.5 only gives access to a couple of new components and extra chips, if you do not need either of these then staying at 4.3 is an option, otherwise let me know and we can try and figure out a way to get 4.5 on your machine.

Thanks David,
I'll stick with 4.3 for now.
I'm running Windows XP with all the updates, in case that helps with your investigation. I have another licence that runs on a Windows 7 machine - v4.5 works fine on that.
