EB014 - Share Port

Post by dbasnett »

I am trying to connect the keypad and EB004 (LED) or EB007 (switch) to one port. So far I have had no luck. The LED is on port D and the switches are on port B. I don't seem to get any input from the keypad, and feel like I am missing something simple.

Thanks in advance.

Basically, the lines on the EB004 board have 560 ohm resistors through the LEDs to ground. This negates the operation of the EB014 keypad which has 10k resistors in the columns (which selectively provide a pull-up).

It is best to use the keypad on a 'clear' port.
