Re: Using extern interupt pin on the 12F675
Hi goingo,
I have just tested on a 12F675 I had lying around and I can confirm it works as you intended.
Two things:
1) Flowcode simulator does not work for int on 12F675(can this be looked at for V5 please?) even though hardware does. The reason is Flowcode simulator uses RB0 for interrupt since this is most common pin on microcontrollers. (at least I am guessing that's the case?) But on 12F675 int is GP2 (or A2 in simulator)
2) If you are testing on EB006 programmer board, then you must have Switch connected to Port B2 and LED connected to port B7.
What I did was to have both LED board (EB004) & Switch board (EB007) connected to portB
If not using a switch board but just a single switch, then you must have a pull-down resistor connected to GP0 of chip or port B2 (if using programmer EB006) and GND. Then switch connects to GP0 and +5V
Hope this helps
Martin

Re: Using extern interupt pin on the 12F675
Hello,

I can confirm this has been fixed for v51) Flowcode simulator does not work for int on 12F675(can this be looked at for V5 please?) even though hardware does. The reason is Flowcode simulator uses RB0 for interrupt since this is most common pin on microcontrollers. (at least I am guessing that's the case?) But on 12F675 int is GP2 (or A2 in simulator)

Re: Using extern interupt pin on the 12F675
ok i understand
my environment is the same as you describe eb006 eb004 and eb007
till today i only simulate - because i searched for a little pic with ext interupt and 5 outputs and programming via flowcode - so i decided me for the 12f675
the part will arrive in the next days then ill try on hardware or wait for V5
many thanx for your fast feedback
friendly regards ingo

Re: Using extern interupt pin on the 12F675
Your welcome.
Since you are using EB006 programmer, then on page 14 of data sheet:
http://www.matrixmultimedia.com/resourc ... 6-30-7.pdf
Shows you what connections of PortB (programmer) are connected to which pins of microcontroller
This applies to 8, 14 & 20 pin devices.
