24FJ burned slowly

24FJ burned slowly

Hello !

I have an other problem with this 24FJ256GA110.

I use a pickit 2 to program. I have no problem with 18Fxxxx and 33FJ64MC802 but with the 24FJ, it is very very long.

Do you have any idea ?

Hello,

How much code memory are you using out of the 256K available? 256K is a fair amount to program so this could maybe explain the long programming time? Also how long are we talking? i.e. 1min, 10mins, hours?

Hello,

Just blinking a LED taking a long time.

Much longer than any other PIC24FJ or 33FJ.

I just try in choosing 24FJ256DA210 instead of 24FJ256GA110 in the project option. I force to program the 24FJ256GA110 with the DA210 program with the pickit2 software and the burning is short and works.
My LED blink and the internal oscillator works.

But the SPI doesn't work :(

I'm lost.
