Hello John,

If your using a version of Flowcode prior to v4.5 then yes there is an update available which includes an update for BoostC. Simply use the Help menu in Flowcode and then select the check for updates item from the list.

Hi, thanks benj,
For some reason the linker line keeps pointing to a non existant folder that the free
version of dspic flowcode created. Since installing that on 4 different machines, it has
re-written the linker parameter line to c:\sourceboost instead of Matrix multimedia etc etc
I was hoping this would remedy itself with v4.5, but no....

regards...john

Hi John,

Hmm that's odd I wonder if the demo version is doing something it shouldn't be in the registry.

You can solve the problem by Clicking Chip -> Compiler options in v4.5 and then updating the linker paths with the following.

Linker Location = C:\Program Files\Matrix Multimedia\Flowcode V4\BoostC\boostlink_pic.exe

Linker Parameters = -ld "C:\Program Files\Matrix Multimedia\Flowcode V4\BoostC\lib" libc.pic16.lib flowcode.pic16.lib rand.pic16.lib float.pic16.lib "%f.obj" -t PIC%p -d "%d" -p "%f"
