V5 opening V4.5 Charts....

Post by Sparkoids »

If I open a Flowcode file designed in V4.5 will I be able to see the C Code in that window in the V5 interface even though it's from an earlier version of the software?

Hi. You should be able to upgrade projects from v4.5 to v5 pretty seamlessly. Most of our in-house testing has been done using existing v4 programs.

Bear in mind that files saved in v5 will not be able to be opened in v4, but a backup will automatically be made on upgrade anyway.

Cheers,

Jonny

Hi Jonny,

What I mean is will the flow chart be displayed with the individual bits of C Code available as it is for a V5 chart...

As far as I am aware all customised C code be it in designated icons or macro related via the customise code function should be transfered fine into v5 and visible in either source view mode or the dual view mode. (if thats what you are asking? :) )
