This should go in the V5 area but I can't add a post there for some reason!
I downloaded your custom code some time ago for the KS0108 128x64 gLCD driver; this worked fine in V4.n but won't load into a V5 program.
Is this because the code needs to be edited to work in V5 or is there something else which is wrong?
I've pasted a copy of the .c file into the folder relevant to V5 components and I've 'registered' everything by running install.bat
I've run out of ideas...

Hi there. All direct pin access, etc, should work as it did in v4, though there may be unknown subtle differences, depending on what your code is doing. What problems are you getting - does it fail to load your program, compile to chip or run in the chip? Can you give a sample of the code or the custom code you are using (and its context) as we cant help without knowing more about the problem.

Hi,
If I create a new V5 program (I selected 18F4520 just because that was what I'm using for my project), then, when I click on 'custom' to add it to the panel, a message pop-up appears saying 'problem adding the component'.
The original program I created in V4.5 worked initially - and the actually design works from the compiled hex - and it worked when I first tried it in V5 but the problem has arisen during a subsequent attempt to open the program. It no longer loads in V4.5 either. I think something has happened in the registry. I'm wondering whether I have to run V4.5 uninstall.bat before rerunning the V5 install.bat. I'll try that shortly and report back...

Hi there. v5 project files are not compatible with v4.5, so you wont be able to load them into this. We will have a look at the custom component issues tomorrow and get back to you.
We are due to make a release with all the patches from the components, exe and HW abstraction either tomorrow or Tuesday so it is likely any fix will be packaged in this.
In the meantime (in case we can not replicate the issue), can you send us a file showing this problem that we can debug please? If anything is of a sensitive nature you can PM us and we will treat it confidentially.
