Hi,
I am a nuwbe, and do not have any knowledge in C. But I have done many projects using flowcode and PIC, and they were really successful.
I wish to use TCP component in flowcode v4 to make a device which can ping a target IP every specified period, and alarm (Buzzer connected to a physical port) when ever ping failed...! My device needs to have a LCD and few push button switches to set the device IP , subnet and gateway; and the target IP where it should send ping requests.
I have read forums and googled few days, but I am stuck with few things......... Someone on earth, pls advice me..
1) The hardware device compatible with TCP component in flowcode was Wiznet's W3100A which used I2C communication and it is discontinued since some time ago...
2) Wiznet introduced W5100 instead of W3100A with few improvements, but it uses SPI communication and can't be directly used with flowcode since I don't know C language.
3) There are cheaper ethernet modules based on Microchip's ENC28J60 in the market (uses SPI) , but I wonder why Matrix engineers don't consider including this module for convenience of every flowcode user...?
Any help, example codes are grately appreciated.
Thanks,
