Got a component using an 8 bit data port. When selecting PortD_L the wrong port is chosen (PortD_H), setting it from D_H to D_L results in the correct value.
(Jonny, VFD_base as I PMed to you shows this issue)

Hi Jac. Thanks for the spot.
The pin selection stuff had a bit of v5 legacy in it and was a litte bit of a mess. I have redone this now, and hopefully should not show these issues.
